How we fact-check

Accuracy is the whole point of this site. Here's exactly how we try to earn that.

Our promise

Every page shows the date it was last fact-checked, and lists the sources we used.

How a lesson gets written

  1. Lessons are drafted with help from AI tools. Every fact is then checked against the official sources listed in the lesson. If we can't find a reliable source for something, it doesn't go in.
  2. A person reviews the draft, adds any screenshots, and publishes it.
  3. Nothing goes live without a human reviewing it first.

How often pages are re-checked

If a page is overdue for its check, you'll see a quiet "Being re-checked" note on it. A weekly automated job finds overdue pages and checks that every linked source still works — a person still reviews and approves every change before it's published.
